I'm testing this functionality now. Which means I can still make huge changes or even remove all online data if there is a need for it.
Feel free try this and any feedback is appreciated! (Use the Picto-Selector website for feedback)
Step 1: Create your own account
You will need an account on this site to upload and synchronize your pictosheets and pictopages in Picto-Selector.
Step 2: Activate your account
Reply to the email which will be send after registration.
Step 3: Enter your access key in Picto-Selector
Go to your account on this website and select the private key. In Picto-Selector go to the user settings and open the Picto.Cloud setting panel. Enter your private key.
What happens next
After entering your private key in Picto-Selector you will see the current status of your sheets and pages in the list.
What is the public key?
Share your sheets with others by providing them your public key. They will be able to download your sheets and pages but they can not change them online.
How to: Synchronize all changes
Use the right mouse button menu on the pictosheet list and select "Picto.Cloud" > "Synchronize new and newer sheets/pages". This will download all data that is not yet in your database and upload your own changes. But it will check to prevent overwriting changes that have been made from another computer.
How to: Download online sheets and pages
Use the right mouse button menu on the pictosheet list and select "Picto.Cloud" > "Download all online sheets/pages". This will overwrite all local data with online data. Previously deleted data will be restored.
How to: Download online sheet or page
Click on a sheet/page and select a right mouse button menu to overwrite it with the online version. "Picto.Cloud" > "Download online version of this sheet/page". This will overwrite the local version.
How to: Upload existing sheets and pages
Click on a sheet/page and select a right mouse button menu to upload it. "Picto.Cloud" > "Upload and overwrite online version of this sheet/page". This will overwrite the online version.
How to: Remove online sheets and pages
Click on a sheet/page and select a right mouse menu to remove it from the server. "Picto.Cloud" > "Delete online".
Meaning of the colors in the pictosheet list
Yellow means a sheet is not online. Red means a sheet has been removed from the server. Blue means a sheet is also online, but is different. Green means the current version of the sheet is online.
Picto.Cloud is free to use but limited in the number of sheets that can be uploaded. After some time we will decide whether to keep it free with a limited number of sheets or ask a (small) yearly fee.
